On the way to the Monastery of Randa you will find the "Celler de Randa", a rustic restaurant where you can taste typical Mallorcan cuisine very well at a good price. (From Llucmajor towards Algaida, then turn right to Randa).

We especially like the "Rabbit with onion", pieces of rabbit with lots of onion in a white wine sauce. Also delicious are the Mallorcan soups, a hearty cabbage stew with bread and garlic (we recommend half a portion as a starter). Accompany it with a house wine and complete the menu with a typical dessert: "Gató con helato", a Mallorcan almond cake (baked without flour) accompanied with traditional almond ice cream.
A climb (possible by car) to the monastery will reward you with a fantastic view over the island.
